Malassadas sale

‘Theology on Tap’

SMITHFIELD — The diocesan Young Adult Ministry will host “Theology on Tap,” April 22, 7 p.m., arrival; 7: 30 p.m., program, at Uno Chicago Grill, 371 Putnam Pike. The speaker will be Franciscan Father Brice Leavins, Collegiate Judge in the diocesan Marriage Tribunal, whose topic will be “Annulment: What is it?” The presentation will explore the meaning, factors and process of annulment in the Roman Catholic Church. Knights to hold chopstick auction

CENTRAL FALLS — The Knights of Columbus, Sullivan Council No. 2700, 20 Claremont St., will host a chopstick auction, April 11, 7-9:30 p.m., in the council hall. The auction will include more than 160 items, and there will be a raffle for two box seats to a Red Sox game at Fenway Park. Refreshments will be served. St. Antoine open house

Communion Fellowship Breakfast

PROVIDENCE — The Rhode Island State Council of Churches will host its 49th Ecumenical Communion Fellowship Breakfast on April 19, 7-9 a.m., at the Venus de Milo Restaurant, Grand Army Highway, Swansea, MA. The guest speaker will be W. Dennis Aiken, manager of investigations and security for Pratt and Whitney, and a former FBI agent in charge of the “Operation Plunderdome” investigation. Traditional Latin Mass

Traditional Latin Mass at St Joseph Church, Woonsocket Three Traditional Latin (“Tridentine”) Masses will be celebrated at St. Joseph Church, 1200 Mendon Rd., on Sunday April 13, 2008 from 3—4 pm; Sunday May 11, 2008 from 3—4 pm; and Sunday June 8, 2008 from 3—4 pm (the second Sunday of April, May and June). English-Latin Booklet Missals will be provided to aid in following the Mass. Music provided by Rene Pincince and the Schola Sanctae Caeciliae under the direction of Henri St. Louis.
