Franciscan Art Exhibition

Veterans’ Memorial Mass
CRANSTON — St. Ann Parish, 1493 Cranston St., will hold a Memorial Mass, November 11, 8:30 a.m. The Mass will honor Cranston war veterans, living and deceased. St. Albert the Great Lecture
PROVIDENCE — Providence College’s Center for Catholic and Dominican Studies will present its annual S t. Albert the Great Lecture on Faith, Science and Reason, November 15, 3:30-5 p.m., in Aquinas Hall. Dr. Edwin N. Forman, the Alan G. Hassenfeld Professor of Pediatrics at Brown University, will offer a talk “Faith and Reason: A View from Medicine.” The respondent will be Dominican Father Nicanor P. G. La Salette Shrine events
ATTLEBORO, Mass. — The National Shrine of Our Lady of La Salette, 947 Park Ave., will hold the following events: “Bethany Nights” concert, November 16, 7:30 p.m., in the Shrine church. Christian musician John Polce will present an evening of music, prayer and healing; Healing service, conducted in English by La Salette Father Andre Patenaude, Nov. 11, 2 p.m., in the Shrine church. The service will include Mass, teaching, music and the opportunity to be anointed and prayed over individually; An Intercessory Prayer Group meets every second Thursday of the month, 7:15 p.m., in the Shrine church to pray for the intentions received at the Shrine and those most in need of prayer.
