PROVIDENCE – More than a thousand throughout the Diocese of Providence attended the ordination of five men to the priesthood this past Saturday at the Cathedral of SS. Peter and Paul in Providence.
Bishop Thomas J. Tobin presided as Rev. Mr. Jaime Garcia, Rev. Mr. Jacek Ploch, Rev. Mr. Jeremy J. Rodrigues, Rev. Mr. David G. Thurber Jr. and Rev. Mr. Lukasz Willenberg were ordained. In preparation for the ordination, a Holy Hour for priestly vocations was held the night preceding ordination at Blessed Sacrament Church in Providence at 7 p.m.
