"It's a great thrill and experience for the youth of our diocese to compete on the New England level, said Louise Dussault, director of the Office for Comprehensive Youth Ministry. "Getting to see teams from all over and getting to share the excitement with their team members and families is the stuff great memories are made of. The athletes see that they are not the only Catholic athletes out there competing."

"The New England tournament is certainly a highlight, and we will have outstanding representatives for our diocese," said Jerry Dandeneau, Catholic Athletic League Administrator. "I would also like to thank and congratulate all the 325 basketball teams that participated in all the games in the entire season that led to the diocesan playoff tournament. A special word of thanks needs to be given to all the coaches who gave countless hours teaching skills and Catholic values to our young athletes. Parents and families are also to be commended for their support of and dedication to their children."
