22 Bishop Hendricken students ranked in National French Contest

A new school record of 22 Bishop Hendricken High School students have been ranked in the 84th annual National French Contest, according to Lisa Narug, National Director of Le Grand Concours. Le Grand Concours is a national competition sponsored by the American Association of Teachers of French. Students were evaluated for their written, oral and listening comprehension skills in French. More than 72,000 students in all 50 states competed in the 2019 event. The 22 Hendricken students all study under the school’s Modern Language Department Chair, Mr. Joseph Theroux ’82.
