Steak fry planned

WARWICK - St. Francis Church, 596 Jefferson Blvd., will host a steak fry and giant raffle, April 28, 5 p.m., at St. William Parish hall, 200 Pettaconsett Ave. The menu will include salad, sirloin steak or chicken, potato, vegetable, dessert and beverages. The event will include a giant raffle with cash and gift prizes. For more information or tickets, call 737-5191.

Healing service

ATTLEBORO, Mass. - The National Shrine of Our Lady of La Salette, 947 Park Ave., will host a healing service, April 22, 2 p.m., in the Shrine church. The service will be conducted in Portuguese by La Salette Father Manuel Pereira, and will include in Mass, teaching, music, and the opportunity to be prayed over individually and to be anointed. The rite of reconciliation will be available in Portuguese, April 21, 2-3 p.m. The shrine church is wheelchair accessible. For more information, call (508) 222-5410.

Faith formation

WOONSOCKET - The Northern Rhode Island Adult Faith Formation Committee will sponsor a talk titled "Theology of the Body," April 22, 3:30-4:45 p.m., at St. Agatha Parish hall, Fairfield Street. The talk will be presented by Samuel N. Roy and will offer insights from the Bible and Pope John Paul's teachings about marriage and celibacy. For more information, call 767-2950.

Bible study

ATTLEBORO, Mass. - The National Shrine of Our Lady of La Salette, 947 Park St., will continue its Bible study of the Gospel of John, Saturday mornings until May 26, 11 a.m.-noon, in the Reconciliation Chapel. ATTLEBORO, Mass. - The National Shrine of Our Lady of La Salette, 947 Park St., welcomes Christian musician John Polce, for a "Bethany Nights" concert, April 27, 7:30 p.m. Bethany Nights is an evening of music, prayer and healing.
