Singing to Save Lives

In commemoration of the National Day of Protest, the Diocese of Providence Office of Life and Family Ministry and Rhode Island Right to Life (RIRTL) sponsored “A Morning of Prayer & Caroling” on Saturday, Dec. 19 from 9 – 11 a.m. outside of Planned Parenthood, 111 Point St., Providence.

People of all ages packed the sidewalks for the peaceful and joyful witness for life that included prayer, Christmas caroling and hot cocoa, all while gathering around the empty manger.

The emptiness of the Manger represents emptiness of when a child is taken by abortion and the hope of new life.
