THANKSGIVING BREAKFAST:On Tuesday November 20th, Melissa Rhynard’s kindergarten class at St. Brendan School celebrated Thanksgiving a few days early with their annual Thanksgiving Breakfast. Each child was invited to bring one special guest. The children dressed in attire similar to what the Pilgrims and Native Americans would have worn at the first Thanksgiving in 11621. Students and their guests enjoyed a breakfast of pancakes, corn bread, pumpkin bread and fruit. Following breakfast, the children sang three Thanksgiving songs for their guests. Artwork created by the children was also on display. Pictured are Gabriella Moreira and Saylor Costa, both kindergarteners.
