Holy Hours for Vocations

PROVIDENCE — The diocesan Office for Religious has announced the following Holy Hours for priestly and religious vocations, Sunday, April 6, 2-3 p.m., sponsored by the Sisters of St. Dorothy at Mount St. Joseph Convent, 11 Monkey Wrench Lane, Bristol. St. Joseph Parish flea market

Cumberland — St. Joseph Church, 1303 Mendon Road, will hold a giant flea market and craft sale, April 12, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Admission is free and refreshments will be available. For table information, call 658-4449.

“A Day with Mary”

TIVERTON — The Franciscans of the Immaculate Holy Ghost Church, Judson Street, will host “A?Day with Mary,” April 5. The day will begin at 8:50 a.m. with a procession, crowning of Our Lady, singing and recitation of the rosary. Mass will be celebrated by Father Mary Martin and Father Jay Finelli, pastor of Holy Ghost Church. Following lunch, there will be a procession with the Blessed Sacrament, recitation of the rosary, prayer and a talk about Our Lady. Participants are requested to bring a bag lunch. Knights breakfast

NORTH KINGSTOWN — The Knights of Columbus, St. Francis Council, 1265 Tower Hill Road, will host a spring breakfast, April 13, 7:45 a.m.-noon, at the council hall. Cathedral Holy Hour

PROVIDENCE — The Vocation Council of the Diocese of Providence will sponsor a Holy Hour for Vocations, April 13, 7 p.m., at the Cathedral of SS. Peter and Paul, One Cathedral Square. April 13 has been designated as the World Day of Prayer for Vocations. Participants are invited to pray for an increase in vocations to the priesthood and religious life in the diocese. Anointing of the Sick

PAWTUCKET —St. Theresa’s Church, 358 Newport Ave., will hold a Mass of the Anointing of the Sick, April 13, 2 p.m. The sacrament of the sick will be offered during the?Mass to anyone who is facing surgery, undergoing treatments and individuals who are coping with serious or mental illness.
