TO THE EDITOR:
To be a Catholic today, if one prays, trusts, believes and obeys, is a definite assurance of being able to attain eternal life in Heaven. Jesus told Peter, ‘You are Peter, I will give you the keys to the Kingdom of Heaven.’ To be a Roman Catholic today means one belongs to the only church founded by Christ, and it will endure for all time! Jesus said to Peter, ‘You are Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church. The gates of Hell shall not prevail against it!’ To be a Catholic means to have the consolation, love, strength and peace provided by God’s holy sacraments. To be a Roman Catholic is my greatest number one gift from God, and will always be my greatest number one joy!
