For two years, Father Marcin A. Mioduszewski, a priest of the Diocese of Providence, has remained outside the Diocese without permission. Father Mioduszewski’s priestly faculties were revoked on September 14, 2015, and a written warning was issued. For his continued failure to contact the Diocese, Father Mioduszewski has incurred the formal canonical penalty of suspension, effective July 25, 2017.
This prohibits him from performing any and all acts of Holy Orders (including the celebration of the sacraments, sacramentals, and priestly blessings). His priestly faculties and permission to present himself as a priest remain revoked until further notice.
