Day of Service at Monsignor Clarke School honors Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s memory

On Monday, Jan. 21, 35 students and six parents visited Monsignor Clarke School, Wakefield, on Martin Luther King Jr. Day to listen to guest speakers and to engage in service projects for the community. Students recovered Bibles to donate to prison ministry, decorated Valentine’s bags for a local food pantry, sewed Operation Smile Bags and made bracelets, dog toys and treats for the local animal shelter. All efforts were done in the spirit of Dr. King, as a collaborative way to spend the day giving back to others.
