Diocese to host Holy Hour for Life to commemorate Pope St. John Paul II’s ‘Evangelium Vitae’

PROVIDENCE — In commemoration of the 25th anniversary of “Evangelium Vitae,” Pope St. John Paul II’s call on the Church to provide constant teaching on the value and inviolability of every human life (to be celebrated March 25, 2020 – March 25, 2021), the Diocese of Providence will host a Holy Hour for Life on Tuesday, March 24, at 6:30 p.m., at St. Patrick Church, 244 Smith St., Providence. All are invited. The Holy Hour will feature Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, liturgical readings, intercessions for life, a homily delivered by Bishop Thomas J. Tobin, praying of the rosary for life in multiple languages and Benediction. Following the Holy Hour there will be a reception and refreshments in the parish gymnasium.
