On Sunday, Sept. 30, Father Michael Woolley was installed as pastor of Saints John & Paul Church in Coventry. Bishop Thomas J. Tobin presided over the Mass and shared that he was very happy to be with the community for this significant moment in the life of the parish. “Many of you have known your new pastor for many years and that’s a blessing for Father, for his family and for all of you as well,” said Bishop Tobin. “I want to extend my congratulations to Father Woolley as he begins writing a new chapter in his priestly life and ministry. I know he welcomed the opportunity to be here, to be your pastor and spiritual guide. Today we pray that God will bless him abundantly, that you always work well together and continue the great work of this parish – to preach the Gospel of Jesus to proclaim God’s kingdom in your midst.”
