PROVIDENCE

CENTRAL FALLS

St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Academy will hold its annual Christmas Social featuring activities, raffles, food, and prizes, December 8 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., in St. Matthew Church hall, Dexter Street. Admission is free. The Annual Christmas Concert, featuring students in Grades Pre-K - 8 will be held on December 9 at 2:00 p.m., in St. Matthew Church. Admission is free for both events. Father Holland Catholic School will host a number of events during December in the St. Joseph Church hall, 181 Sayles Ave. On December 12, Grades 2 and 3 will perform a concert of Christmas favorites for the St. Joseph Interparish Seniors at 1:00 p.m. On December 18, the Drama Club, under the direction of Carol Bachman, will perform “A Christmas Carol” at 7:00 p.m. Students in Grades Pre-k through 3 will perform a Christmas concert at 1:15 p.m. on December 21. EAST PROVIDENCE

St. Margaret School, presents its annual Christmas Concert on December 12 at 7:00 p.m. at East Providence High School, 2000 Pawtucket Ave. Students from all grades will perform Christmas songs. Tickets will be sold at the door. For more information, call Mrs. Clancy at 434-2338.

Blessed Sacrament School, 240 Regent Ave., will hold two Christmas pageants featuring students in Pre-school through Grade 4 on December 3; and on December 4, featuring students in Grades 5 through 8. WEST WARWICK

On December 10, beginning at 6:00 p.m., students from Christ the Redeemer Academy will present an evening of performances focused on the theme “Christ Our Gift” at St. John the Baptist Church, 40 Washington St. The Pre-Kindergarten class will start the festivities by singing Christmas carols, followed by Grades K-4 performing the play “God Blessed Them One and All.” Immediately following the performances, Grades 5-8 will present religious projects based on the theme, “Christ Our Gift”. CRANSTON

– The students of St. Matthew School will provide an evening of Lessons & Carols on December 17, beginning at 6:45 p.m., in the parish church, located at the corner of Park and Elmwood avenues. Through Scripture readings and seasonal songs, the service will reveal the true meaning of the Christmas season. St. Rocco School will host its annual Christmas concert entitled “Festival of Lights” on December 18 at 6:30 p.m., in the parish church, 927 Atwood Ave. The concert will feature students in Grades 1-8, and the advanced choir, and will include a Living Manger performed by students in the first grade.
