PROVIDENCE — As part of the 40 days for Life, all are invited to take part in a Lenten Kick-off Rally on Ash Wednesday, February 14. Join in the celebration of 12:05 p.m. Mass and distribution of Ashes at the Cathedral of SS. Peter and Paul in Providence. Following Mass, Bishop Thomas J. Tobin will offer a special blessing outside the cathedral. The Ancora Mobile Ultrasound Clinic will lead those gathered on the walk to Planned Parenthood, 175 Broad St., for a short rally and meditation on the Glorious Mysteries of the Rosary. Bishop Tobin will join the procession. The focus of the day is Prayer, Fasting and Community Outreach. 40 Days for Life is co-sponsored by The Office of Life and Family and R.I. Right to Life.
