More than 280 people attended St. Gregory the Great’s Knights of Columbus Taste of Italy dinner, which raised more than $5,000 for the organization’s charitable works. The Knights donated $2,500 of the proceeds to the A-T Children’s Project in honor of Andrew Martin, a senior at Pilgrim High School. Ataxia-Telangiectasia is a rare genetic disease that attacks children, causing progressive loss of muscle control, immune system problems and a high rate of cancer. Pictured with Andrew, at center, are, from left to right, Father David Ricard of St. Gregory; Michael Walsh, Grand Knight of St. Gregory; Domenic Rozzero, the organizer and chef of Taste of Italy; and family members Brendan Martin, Cathy Martin, Tim Martin, Marylou Taito and Wayne Moore.
