CUMBERLAND — Thanks to a generous donation from its benefactors, Mercymount Country Day School has plans to begin a Robotics program starting in 2020. This program will enhance the Project Based Learning methodology and STEAM curriculum that is already employed at the school.
“Robotics is just one more way Mercymount’s administration and faculty are developing programming that promotes critical thinking, collaboration, creativity, problem solving, active engagement, digital comprehension, technology and information literacy, all vitally important skills for our children,” said Sister Rayleen Giannotti, principal. “We are grateful for this generous donation as it will allow us to expand and strengthen our current offerings.”
