Renowned author Dr. Scott Hahn to offer faith enriching talk at McVinney Auditorium

Posted

PROVIDENCE — Join Dr. Scott Hahn and the St. Paul Center at McVinney Auditorium, 43 Dave Gavitt Way, this Saturday, April 7, 2018 for a powerful morning presentation on two of the most pivotal aspects of Catholic life: Marriage and Mass.

In sharing from his newest books, “The First Society” and “The Fourth Cup,” Dr. Hahn will discuss how marriage and the Mass have much in common. Both are sacraments that point to and reveal God’s love; both are expressions of Catholic life; and both, admittedly, have been misunderstood and taken for granted at times. As Dr. Hahn will reveal, both marriage and the celebration of the Eucharist in the Mass are “Miracles of Mercy.”

Discover these tremendous gifts to the Church at this event sponsored by the St. Paul Center and hosted by the Office of Faith Formation and McVinney Auditorium of the Diocese of Providence. The event schedule is as follows: 9 – 10 a.m. “The Miracle of Mercy in Marriage;” 10 – 10:15 a.m. St. Paul Center Presentation; 10:15 – 10:45 a.m. Break; Books available for sale; 10:45 – 11:45 a.m. “The Miracle of Mercy in the Eucharist.”

Guests will also have the opportunity to learn more about the mission of the St. Paul Center.
