Rev. Alan Paul Beauregard

PROVIDENCE – Father Alan P. Beauregard died Thursday, October 4.

A Providence native, Father Beauregard was the son of Ceile M. the late Paul A. Beauregard.

He was a graduate of Weston Jesuit School of Theology in Cambridge, Mass where he received his Masters of Divinity, as well as the University of Ottawa, where he received his bachelor’s degree and studied theology.

Father Beauregard was ordained at St. Vincent DePaul Church in Coventry on May 10, 1975. Following his ordination he was the retreat director at LaSalette Retreat House in Attleboro, Mass., until 1978. He then served as pastor of Blessed Kateri Tekawitha Parish in Calif, the vocation director of LaSalette Missionaries in Attleboro, Mass, the chaplain Of Dartmouth College and again as the pastor of Blessed Kateri Tekawitha parish in Calif. Father Beauregard most recently was the coordinator for the Catholic Chaplaincy Team at Rhode Island State Institutions.

Calling hours were held at the LaSalette Shrine Church, 947 Park Street, Attleboro, Mass. on Sunday October 7, from 7-9 p.m.

A Mass of Christian Burial was concelebrated at the same church on Monday October 8, at 10 a.m. Burial was in the LaSalette cemetery, in Enfield, N.H.
