Bingo to benefit those attending Steubenville East Youth Conference
PASCOAG —Bingo Night to benefit those attending Steubenville East Youth Conference will be held on February 21, at St. Joseph Church in the parish hall. Doors open at 5 p.m. and the game starts at 6 p.m. Must be 18 years and older to play.
Day of Retreat in Spanish for Legion of Mary, family and friends
PROVIDENCE — The Legion of Mary will host a retreat in Spanish on Saturday, Feb. 22 from 8:30 a.m. - 3 p.m. at St. Mary’s Church, 538 Broadway. The retreat will be facilitated by Father Jonathan Romanoski, FSSP, a graduate of Franciscan University in Steubenville, Priest Fraternity of St. Peter. Masses for Recovery on the West Bay
WARWICK — The next Mass for Recovery will be offered on Sunday, Feb. 23, 5 p.m., at Bishop Hendricken Chapel, 2615 Warwick Ave. These Masses, to which all are welcome, provide an opportunity for people to come together in faith to seek God’s loving kindness and grace with special prayer intentions dedicated for those in recovery. If you or loved ones struggle with alcohol, drugs, addictions, mental distress, or support folks who suffer from the effects of these issues, you are encouraged to attend. 40 Days for Life Lenten Campaign
PROVIDENCE — The Lenten Campaign will begin on Ash Wednesday, Feb. 26 and conclude on Saturday, April 4. The diocese is asking parishes to adopt a day (7 a.m. / 7 p.m.) or individuals to adopt an hour for a peaceful and prayerful vigil at Planned Parenthood, Providence during the 40 Days of Lent. Chowder and clam cakes Fridays in Lent

CRANSTON — Immaculate Conception Church and St. Mark Church will host a Blood Drive on Monday, March 2, from 3:30 - 7:30 p.m. in St. Joseph Hall, next to Immaculate Conception Church, at 237 Garden Hills Drive. Lenten Fish Dinner
BRISTOL – Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, 141 State St., will host Lenten Fish Dinners on Friday, March 6 and 27 from 4:30 – 7:30 p.m. in the parish center. In addition to the standard fried or baked fish with french fries and coleslaw, this year’s menu includes coconut shrimp, cheese ravioli, eggplant parmesan and ravioli, and fried scallops or baked stuffed shrimp. Credit cards and mobile payments are accepted. Dinner is served take-out or dine-in (cold drinks and limited seating available). The proceeds of this event are to cover the expenses associated with this year’s parish feast to be held on the town common July 16 - 19. First Saturday Devotions to Our Lady
PROVIDENCE — Please join Relevant Radio, the St. Augustine Council of the Knights of Columbus and the Men of St. Joseph for the First Saturday Devotions to Our Lady of Fatima at St. Augustine Church on March 7. Devotions begin with the Sacrament of Reconciliation 3:45 p.m. (continuing until 5 p.m.), the Holy Rosary in music and song at 4 p.m., private meditation on the mysteries of the Rosary at 4:30 p.m. and Mass with Holy Communion beginning at 5 p.m. All are invited on each of the five first Saturdays for this very beautiful and special devotion to Our Lady of the Rosary.

Free Income Tax Preparation
PROVIDENCE — Amos House, a fully handicap-accessible agency at 460 Pine Street in Providence, prepares free income tax returns for those who earned $56,000 or less in 2019. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday evening appointments from 4 p.m. on may be made through April 15 by calling 401-272-0220. Poor Man’s Supper at Saint Vincent de Paul Church
COVENTRY — Poor Man’s Supper will be held every Friday evening in the church basement at Saint Vincent de Paul Church, 6 Saint Vincent de Paul St., beginning at 5:30 p.m. The menu will include meatless soup, bread, grilled cheese sandwiches, coffee, tea, and juice. Saint Patrick’s Day Dinner to benefit Little Sisters
SEEKONK, Mass. — The Little Sisters of the Poor Jeanne Jugan Residence of Pawtucket will hold its 12th annual Saint Patrick’s Day Dinner at The Old Grist Mill Tavern, 390 Fall River Ave., on Tuesday, March 17, from 11 a.m. - 9 p.m. This annual event supports the Little Sisters’ mission of serving the elderly poor and will include a traditional corned beef and cabbage dinner along with raffle prizes, a “Pot of Gold” drawing, and homemade scones for sale. First Saturday Mass honoring Our Lady

Support group offered for divorced and separated Catholics
CHARLESTOWN — The Office of Life and Family has an on-going support group for divorced and separated Catholics at St. James Chapel (in the St. Mary/St. James Parish Center), 2079 Matunuck School House Road. It is held on the first and third Wednesday evening of each month, 7 - 8:30 p.m. This free support group embraces our Catholic faith and provides a peaceful place for sharing, healing, and for topics related to separation/divorce.
