Spring Rosary Novena
PROVIDENCE — Please join Servants of Christ for Life on Saturday mornings for the Spring Rosary Novena. Mass will begin at 8 a.m. at the Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul followed by praying the Rosary at Planned Parenthood at 8:30 a.m. The last week of the Novena is on June 9. A Journey of Faith
WEST WARWICK — For those who would like to join members of St. Mary Church, 68 Church St., on a nine day pilgrimage to Italy, all interested are invited to a meeting on Thursday, May 31, at 6:30 p.m. in Father Gibson Hall. The pilgrimage, December 3 - December 9, will travel to Rome, Assisi, Florence and Venice, including daily Mass, rosary, visiting many Christian holy places and an audience with Pope Francis. The pilgrimage is being conducted by Captain Cruise & Crew, East Providence, with Father Douglas Spina, church pastor, acting as group chaplain. St. Mary Church is having a ‘Ham and Bean Hoedown’
WEST WARWICK — St. Mary Church will host a ham and bean supper on Saturday, June 2, in Father Gibson Hall, 68 Church St., hors d’oeuvres at 5 p.m. and dinner at 6 p.m. Menu includes, baked ham, baked beans, salad, bread, beverage and dessert. St. Patrick Church to present ‘We are One’
PROVIDENCE — St. Patrick Church, 244 Smith St., will present ‘We Are One’ on Saturday, June 2, at 7:30 p.m. in the St. Patrick Academy gym. Join us as the parish community celebrates the diversity and history of the parish. Speakers will share their unique journeys from their native countries to St. Patrick Parish. Coffee and light refreshments will be served. Building is handicap accessible by elevator entrance in rear of parking lot. There will be a 50/50 drawing, as well as door prizes. No charge for event.

St. Pius X Church to host Women’s Morning of Reflection
WESTERLY — On Saturday, June 2, St. Pius X Church, 44 Elm St., will host a Women’s Morning of Reflection with Donna Marie Cooper O’Boyle, an award-winning and best-selling author, journalist, speaker, pilgrimage host, and the EWTN television host and creator of “Everyday Blessings for Catholic Moms” and “Catholic Mom’s Cafe.” Donna-Marie was blessed to know St. Teresa of Calcutta and she received a special blessing from St. John Paul II for her work on this great saint. The day begins with 8 a.m. Mass. The cost for the morning session is $10, which includes coffee and refreshments. Seasons of Hope: Support Group for the Bereaved to meet

Annual Scalabrini Day Celebration Dinner scheduled
PROVIDENCE — Scalabrini Dukcevich Center will host the annual Scalabrini Day Celebration Dinner on June 2. Vatican Exhibition of the Eucharistic Miracles of the World presentation to be featured at St. Mary
BRISTOL — St. Mary Church, 330 Wood St., will host a Vatican Exhibition of the Eucharistic Miracles of the World, on Saturday, June 2, from 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. with adoration from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.; and Sunday June 3, from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. More than 120 miracles from 17 countries will be featured in this presentation. Walk together in faith with the St. Mark Church community
CRANSTON — Please come pray and walk together with the Lord as we express the faith in the real presence of Christ in the Blessed Sacrament and bring his light to the streets of Cranston in joyful witness on Sunday, June 3 at St. Mark Church, 9 Garden Court, Cranston (in Garden City). The celebration will consist of Solemn Mass at 11 a.m., a traditional Eucharistic Procession of song and prayer, followed by Benediction and concluded with a Coffee an’. The procession will travel the city block of the St. Mark grounds.

Come Follow Jesus through the Streets of Coventry

Celebrate the 175th Anniversary of St. Mary Church
WEST WARWICK — St. Mary Parish, 68 Church St., established in 1844 and which maintains the oldest existing church structure in the diocese, will begin its year-long Diamond Anniversary Jubilee with a Holy Hour, Sunday, June 3, at 4 p.m. in the church. Following the Holy Hour, an outdoor statue of St. Francis of Assisi will be blessed and dedicated in memory of Father Paul Francis Reynolds, who served as pastor of the church. A reception will follow in Father Gibson Hall immediately after the dedication. All are invited to attend. The 175th Anniversary of the church will conclude on Sunday, May 5, 2019, at noon, with the concelebrated Solemn Anniversary Mass and Dinner Dance at the Cranston Country Club.

‘Praying the Bible:’ Learn to incorporate the Word of God into daily prayer life

Michael Pakaluk to speak at St. Pius V

BRISTOL — The Holy Rosary Sodality at St. Elizabeth Church, 577 Wood St., will host a Clam Boil on Saturday, June 9 at 6 p.m. in the parish auditorium. The price of $35.00 will include sweet corn, sweet and regular potatoes, chourico, sausage, hot dogs and of course, clams served with butter and/or broth. Cake and coffee will also be offered. A cash bar will be available. In addition to the clam boil, there will be a beef stew with vegetables dinner for $20.00. This event is open to the public. New support group for divorced and separated Catholics
CAROLINA — The Office of Life and Family is offering a new support group for divorced and separated Catholics at St. Mary Church, rectory (downstairs, side entrance), 437 Carolina Back Road. The group is ongoing and will be held on the first and third Wednesdays of each month, from 7 - 8:30 p.m. There are no costs to attend. This support group embraces our Catholic faith and God’s grace, and provides a peaceful place for sharing, healing and for topics/discussions related to separation/divorce.
