St. Mary’s Fall Yard Sale

2019 Carmelite Monastery Benefit Concert

Coping with Grief during the Holidays
EAST PROVIDENCE —The Office of Life and Family will offer a special workshop, “Coping with Grief during the Holidays,” which will be held at Our Lady of Loreto Church, 346 Waterman Ave., on Monday, Nov. 18, 6:30 – 8 p.m., at the rectory (side door, downstairs). Coping with grief during the holidays can be a time of great sorrow and apprehension. Many struggle with pain, loss, and feelings of emptiness, as well as countless other difficult thoughts and emotions. This workshop is designed to help those who are grieving to begin to heal and establish healthy ways to cope during the holidays with meaning, love and purpose, all within the light of the Catholic faith. JOHNSTON — The Office of Life and Family will offer the Our Lady of Sorrows Bereavement Support program at St. Robert Bellarmine Church, 1804 Atwood Ave., downstairs in lower church (not handicap accessible). The meetings will be held on Tuesday evenings 6:30 – 8 p.m., November 19, through January 21, 2020, except for the weeks of Christmas and New Year’s.
