PROVIDENCE — Amos House, 460 Pine St., a fully handicap-accessible agency, prepares free income tax returns for those who earned $55,000 or less in 2018. Giant Yard Sale
PAWTUCKET — On Saturday, April 13, from 8 a.m. – 2 p.m., Woodlawn Catholic Regional School will host a giant outdoor yard sale at 61 Hope St. in Pawtucket. In the event of rain, the yard sale will be held on Saturday, April 20. Items available to purchase will include small furniture, books, music, toys, Christmas items, tools, lots of household items and much more. Mass for healing offered at St. James Chapel
CHARLESTOWN — A Mass for healing will be offered at St. James Chapel, 2079 Matunuck Schoolhouse Rd., on Sunday, April 14 at 2 p.m. by Father Paul Desmarais, pastor of St. Mary/St. James Parish. St. Mary Church to offer Concert of Sacred Music
WEST WARWICK — St. Mary Church will offer a Concert of Sacred Music, which also includes readings from Holy Scripture, on Wednesday, April 17, in the church, 68 Church St. This event celebrates the annual observance of Tenebrae, a dramatic rendering of the night which recalls Judas Iscariot’s treachery, his betrayal of Our Lord for 30 pieces of silver. Because of periods of darkness and intermittent loud, thunderous sounds; this service is not intended for young children. There will be a simple reception in Father Gibson Hall immediately following. Hope and Cope support group to meet

St. Mary Church to celebrate 175th anniversary
WEST WARWICK — St. Mary Church, will celebrate its Diamond Jubilee on Sunday, May 5. The Solemn 175th Anniversary concelebrated Mass of Thanksgiving will begin at noon with Bishop Thomas J. Tobin serving as principal celebrant and homilist. The blessing of the new outdoor statue of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus will be blessed by the bishop immediately following the Mass.
