TO THE EDITOR:
Despite the governor's opinion, a decorated tree in December is, in fact, a Christmas tree.
It is not a Thanksgiving tree, nor a Hanukkah tree, nor is it a New Year's tree or a Kwanza tree. So while many holidays are celebrated at this time, decorated trees are one of the traditional symbols of Christmas, and not associated with any of the other holidays. So let's call it what it is!
