TO THE EDITOR:
Now that the cycle of mid-term elections is behind us, I ask why? Why do so many Rhode Island Catholic voters consistently support pro-abortion candidates, particularly pro-abortion “Catholic” candidates? It is not as if the records of these politicians and their opposition to Catholic principals is a big secret. I have no doubt the IQ of Rhode Island’s Catholics likely is no less than that of Catholics elsewhere, but why are they so obtuse about translating that education into practical support of our great faith? Wake up Rhode Island Catholics. It’s time to vote with your conscience and soul, not mindless emotions. God help us!
