Diocese to celebrate the Memorial of Saint Joseph the Worker

PROVIDENCE — As part of the solemn diocesan celebration of the Year of Saint Joseph, Bishop Thomas J. Tobin will serve as celebrant and homilist for the Memorial of St. Joseph the Worker on Saturday, May 1, at 10:30 a.m., at the Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul. All are invited to attend as the Diocese of Providence invokes the holy intercession of Saint Joseph.

Reflections on  St. Joseph as a  Model for Young Men

PROVIDENCE — On Saturday, May 1, following the 8 a.m. Mass at St. Augustine Church, 20 Old Road, Father Joseph Brice will offer a talk entitled, “Reflections on St. Joseph (Husband, Foster Father, Worker) as a Model for Young Men” For more information, call 499-4279.

Mary, Mother of Mankind to host Consecration  to St. Joseph

NORTH PROVIDENCE — All are welcome to attend the Mary, Mother of Mankind Church Consecration to St. Joseph every Wednesday in the church, 25 Fourth St., beginning April 21 for 5 weeks.
