All Saints STEAM Academy announces new principal

PROVIDENCE — Most Rev. Thomas J. Tobin, Bishop of Providence, has appointed Lara Wibeto as Principal of All Saints STEAM Academy.
“As an experienced educator and a true person of faith, Lara Wibeto will bring a wide range of skills and leadership to the already vibrant and strong community at All Saints STEAM Academy,” said Rev. Msgr. Albert A. Kenney, Vicar General and Moderator of the Curia. “We also want to sincerely thank Anita Brouse, the outgoing All Saints principal, for her many years of dedicated and faithful leadership. We wish her well in her retirement.”
A native Rhode Islander, Wibeto has served as a classroom teacher in both Catholic and public schools, most recently teaching in Providence Public Schools. She earned a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Policy from Boston College, and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary and Special Education from Rhode Island College. In addition, she is a veteran of the U.S. Army and an active volunteer in her parish, Girl Scouts, and other community organizations.
“It is truly an honor to be appointed Principal of All Saints STEAM Academy,” said Wibeto. “It is a blessing to be called to serve the dedicated team of teachers, staff, families, alumni, friends, and community partners of the All Saints STEAM Academy as a continuation of my life’s mission to have God work through me as an educational leader to assist students to reach their highest potential as lifelong learners by strengthening the mind, body, and spirit to facilitate achievement academically and in life as flourishing future leaders and members of our global society and Catholic Community,” she added.
Wibeto resides in coastal South County, Rhode Island with her husband, Scott, and three children.
All Saints STEAM Academy, located in Middletown, R.I., works to provide cutting-edge math, science, and technological education for students in preschool through 8th grade. Through an invaluable combination of education and experience, All Saints faculty leads and inspires its students to explore and create well into their futures.
