Bishop Thomas J. Tobin visits local high schools, offers special blessings during pandemic
After celebrating Bishop Hendricken High School’s opening of school Mass on September 29, Bishop Tobin visited campus to chat with students and bless classrooms, even receiving a special gift from seniors in the Options Program.

On October 7, the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary, The Prout School welcomed Bishop Thomas J. Tobin; Father Jeremy Rodrigues, Administrative Secretary to the Bishop; and Daniel Ferris, Superintendent of Catholic Schools to the school’s opening of school Mass. While only seniors were present in the auditorium for the Mass, the entire student body, faculty and staff observed via livestream. After Mass, Bishop Tobin, accompanied by Prout Chaplain Father Carl Fisette, blessed the interior of the school while the seniors processed outdoors to receive their Prout pin, a school tradition, to pin on their senior blazers.
