On June 21, Bishop Thomas J. Tobin celebrated Mass at St. Thomas More Church, Narragansett, in honor of the feast of the parish’s patron saint. Following the Mass, Bishop Tobin and Father Marcel Taillon, pastor, presented former Governor Donald Carcieri with the St. Thomas More Parish Medal of Virtue award in recognition of exemplary citizenship, virtuous lifestyle and strong Catholic faith. During his visit to the South County parish, Bishop Tobin blessed the newly-renovated parish hall.
