PAWTUCKET —On Wednesday, Oct. 13, boys and girls cross country teams traveled to Slater Park in Pawtucket to compete in the Catholic Athletic League State Championship. There were 176 boys and 159 girls in Wednesday’s race. 2021 CAL Cross Country Results in the Regular Season: Eastern Division: Boys’ and Girls’ Champion — St. Philomena; Southern Division: Boys’ Champion — Our Lady of Mercy, Girls’ Champion — Monsignor Clark; Central Division: Boys’ Champion — St. Pius V, Girls’ Champion — St. Augustine; Northern Division: Boys’ Champion — St. Margaret, Girls’ Champion — St. John the Evangelist.
