Blauvelt Dominicans can be seen in this photo from 1968 at St. Pius V School in Providence. From left, Sister Agnes Michel; Sister Joanne; Sister Lucina; Sister Laurentia, principal; Sister Stephen Marie; and Sister Jordan Marie.

New school memories will be made on Saturday, May 21, from noon-4 p.m. when all are invited to the Catholic Schools Arts Festival at St. Philomena School of the Sacred Heart in Portsmouth. The festival is an outdoor Performing Arts Showcase Concert with students from across the diocese. This special day will feature the World Premiere of a combined chorus piece by Tom Kendzia, liturgical musician and composer. Let’s reminisce as “The Lord has done great things for us and we are filled with joy,” (Ps 126:1).
