Joyce A. Kieloch

BALDWINSVILLE, N.Y. —Joyce Ann (Hornick) Kieloch entered into eternal rest on Friday, July 9, surrounded by her family. Joyce was born April 12, 1940, to the late Frank and Pauline (Maher) Hornick. She grew up in Syracuse and graduated from St. Anthony of Padua High School. She earned a bachelor’s degree from The College of Saint Rose, Albany, and a master’s degree in education from SUNY Cortland. A lifelong teacher, Joyce taught at Morgan Road Elementary School for more than 30 years, having previously taught in Catholic schools. She is predeceased by her parents and her siblings, Bill Hornick and Rosemary Ingraham.
Joyce is survived by her husband of 45 years, Michael G. of Liverpool, her son Michael F. (Molly) of Rumford, R.I., Director of Communications and Public Relations for the Diocese of Providence, and three grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Wednesday, July 14, at Pope John XXIII Church, Liverpool, N.Y., with burial in Pine Plains Cemetery, Clay, New York.
