La Salle Academy Rams battled Portsmouth High School for a chance to compete in the finals

In RIIL Boys Basketball Division 1 Championship on Sunday, March 3, the La Salle Academy Rams battled Portsmouth High School for a chance to compete in the finals against Classical High School at the Amica Mutual Pavilion in Providence on March 6. Led by their head coach Michael McParlin, La Salle has adopted the mantra “earned not given” and this was evident in their consistent effort on defense and rebounding which propelled them to a decisive 72-48 win.
