This summer, La Salle students had the incredible opportunity to participate in a service immersion trip with the Mustard Seed Communities in Kingston, Jamaica. During their time with Mustard Seed, students lived out the call to serve by supporting children and adults with disabilities through daily prayer, assisting with meals, completing a work project, and participating in a faith-filled community through creative art projects, soccer, and singing. This service experience gave students an opportunity to reflect on how their faith calls them to serve others while forming meaningful friendships with people living with disabilities - challenging stereotypes and recognizing the joy and dignity in every person.
