HOLLYWOOD — Nim Stant, founder of the International Impact Book Awards, has announced that local author, Paul F. Caranci, of North Providence, was named a finalist as the 2025 Author of the Year for his most recent book, “History’s Greatest Mystery: The Improbable Convergence of Four Images of Christ.” The book was nominated in the Inspirational Non-Fiction category in February.

According to their website the mission of the International Impact Book Awards is to celebrate and recognize the exceptional work of authors from around the world. The organization is dedicated to elevating the voices of independent authors, traditional publishing houses, and forward-thinking publishers, acknowledging their dedication and passion for storytelling. “History’s Greatest Mystery” was published by Stillwater River Publications in October 2024.

The International Impact Book Awards “have become a beacon of excellence for authors worldwide. With their growing reputation, these awards highlight transformative works across various genres, including personal development, education, and beyond.”

In her letter to Caranci, Stant noted that “History’s Greatest Mystery” was reviewed among hundreds of exceptional titles and its message rose to the top. “This recognition is more than a ranking, it’s a reflection of the impact your voice has had on readers, on the judging panel, and on the world of thought leadership,” Stant wrote. She noted that this powerful book has moved others and that is no small thing.

Caranci has published sixteen books. Five of them have been recognized as award winners or finalists and the rights to four have been purchased by a Hollywood producer. “Being recognized by your peers is something that doesn’t get old and it is certainly a thrill just to be considered for such a prestigious award,” Caranci said.

A winner of the Author of the Year Award will be selected among the finalists at a live red-carpet Hollywood gala to be held on October 4, 2025, in Hollywood, California.
