CHEPACHET — Mother of Hope Camp, a youth summer camp for the Diocese of Providence on beautiful Echo Lake, is very excited to announce their new Camp Director, Michelle Ficocelli.
Ficocelli has been working at the camp for the last ten years and has held many different positions. Most recently she was the Senior Counselor at the camp and was responsible for training and directing all of the camp counselors. During the off-season, Ficocelli works as a teacher’s assistant at Ricci Middle School in North Providence and also as the Confirmation Coordinator for St. Anthony’s Parish in North Providence. She is also part of the team that organizes the Haunted Labyrinth at the Rejoice in Hope Youth Center every year.
Ficocelli is looking forward to working with the families, counselors and campers during the upcoming season where she hopes to bring her fun and creativity to all of the campers at Mother of Hope Camp. She has developed a passion for the mission of the camp and loves the opportunity to work outside with the campers.
“I feel very honored and privileged to be a part of what we do at Mother of Hope Camp,” said Ficocelli. “I am grateful for the opportunity to continue working in an environment that fosters good Christian values and lets children be themselves. My team and I look forward to planning some amazing events for the kids this summer. Come see what we can do! Live. Learn. Grow!”
