NORTH PROVIDENCE — Marie C. Sauriol, 85, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at home. She was the wife of the late Alexander J. Sauriol Jr. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Amelia (Conca) Gibalerio.
Marie worked as a medical secretary for Urological Associates, Coastal Medical and several other health care facilities. She was a faithful parishioner of Mary Mother of Mankind Church, and a member of the St. Vincent de Paul – Mary Mother of Mankind Conference. She was also a member of the Sal Mancini Senior Center and the Order of Sons and Daughters of Italy – Salvatore Mancini Lodge.
A loving and devoted mother and grandmother, she is survived by her daughter, Donna Marie Raheb and her husband, Joseph Raheb, Esq.; her son, Rev. Mark A. Sauriol; four grandchildren, Alexander and his wife, Francesca, Jenna, Samuel and Adrienne Raheb; a brother, Anthony Gibalerio, Jr. and several nieces and nephews.
Marie was devoted to her church, which was a big part of her life. Her greatest joy was spending time with her children, grandchildren and their dogs. Marie loved spending time with her friends and was an avid gardener.
A Concelebrated Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on November 14, in St. Anthony Church, North Providence, with interment in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
