Meeting of Hispanic Ministry Leadership

Regional representatives from diocesan offices of Hispanic Ministry, the staff of the USCCB office of Cultural Diversity, and representatives from pastoral institutes, publishers and national organizations that serve Hispanic Catholics in the United States met for a two-day conference at the Catholic Relief Services headquarters in Baltimore, to pray, plan and start a three-year process leading to the V National Encuentro for Ministry among Hispanics/Latinos in the United States.

The last Encuentro (gathering) was in 2000 in Los Angeles. Coordinator of the Office of Hispanic Ministry of the Multicultural Ministry of the Diocese of Providence and Editor of El Católico de Rhode Island, Silvio Cuéllar represented Episcopal Region 1 at the national meeting.
