National Day of Remembrance for the unborn

Posted

On Saturday, Sept. 14, pro-life individuals throughout the country gathered at the gravesites of aborted babies, and other memorial sites dedicated in their honor, for the tenth annual National Day of Remembrance for Aborted Children. Solemn vigils were held at these sites to commemorate the more than 65 million children who have lost their lives to legal abortion since 1973, as well as those lost to miscarriage, stillbirth or infants that have died after birth, and to remind our society of the humanity of the unborn child. Here in Rhode Island, many took part in memorial services throughout the community including Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence; St. Columba Cemetery, Middletown; and Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland.
