Providence’s St. Adalbert Parish recently hosted a celebration for the newly canonized St. Carlo Acutis. The event was particularly meaningful to the Polish-American parish because Carlo was introduced to the faith by his Polish nanny, Beata Sperczynska, who taught him his first Polish prayer.
The celebration featured a presentation by Confirmation and Faith Formation students, organized around six key ideals exemplified by Carlo: Holy Eucharist, Prayer, the Saints, Confession, Charity, and Suffering. His life continues to inspire devout faith among Catholics worldwide.
