Respect Life Month begins with Life Chain vigils throughout diocese and U.S.

On Sunday, Oct. 7, parishes across the Diocese of Providence and throughout the country participated in Life Chain. Life Chain is a peaceful and prayerful vigil, a public witness to life, a visual statement of solidarity and a testament that the Catholic Church supports the sanctity all human life from conception to natural death. It is typically held on the first Sunday of October and kicks off Respect Life Month.
