CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Rhode Island Catholic and its Spanish language version, El Catolico, were honored with a combined seven awards by the Catholic Press Association of the U.S. and Canada during the organization’s annual Catholic Media Convention and Awards Banquet, held last week in Charlotte, N.C. The newspapers won a variety of awards for writing, as well as advertising in the following categories:
