On April 11, Divine Mercy Sunday, Bishop Thomas J. Tobin installed Father Thomas Woodhouse as the new pastor of St. Paul Church in Cranston. During the Mass, Bishop Tobin extended his congratulations to Father Woodhouse as he begins his new and important chapter in his priestly life and ministry. “He’s one of the fine priests of the diocese and now being matched up with one of the fine parishes of our diocese,” the bishop told parishioners. “We’re grateful for his willingness to assume this new and important responsibility. We know as he begins this work, he certainly will not be alone. He will have your support, your prayers and your love and your cooperation. And he will certainly have the unfailing grace of almighty God. It is with that confidence that we celebrate his installation today.”
