Masses for Recovery
PORTSMOUTH — The next Mass for Recovery will be celebrated on Sunday, Jan. 29, 5 p.m. at St. Barnabas Church, 1697 E. Main Road. These Masses, to which all are welcome, provide an opportunity for people to come together in faith to seek God’s loving kindness and grace with special prayer intentions dedicated for those in recovery. If you or loved ones struggle with alcohol, drugs, addictions, mental distress, or you support folks who suffer from the effects of these issues, you are encouraged to attend. The Visitation of the Missionary Image of Our Lady of Guadalupe
PROVIDENCE — The Missionary Image of Our Lady of Guadalupe will be visiting the diocese in various parishes throughout Rhode Island from now through Sunday, Feb. 5, 2023. The image is an exact replica of the original image of Our Lady, which she left on the Tilma of St. Juan Diego in December 1531. The Missionary Images are known to have been associated with many miracles and healings. Knights of Columbus to host Blood Drive

Eucharistic Adoration planned at Our Lady of Fatima Church
CUMBERLAND — Our Lady of Fatima Church offers traditional Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament every Friday. The schedule is as follows: 2-5 p.m. — Exposition of the Most Blessed Sacrament; 5 p.m. — Holy Hour; 6 p.m. — Mass; 6:30 – 9 p.m. — Adoration and Benediction. There is also Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament with evening prayer and praise and worship music on January 28 and February 18, starting at 7:30 p.m.
“Reviving Eucharistic Adoration”
PROVIDENCE — Come and learn more about this practice of spending time in the presence of God in Eucharistic Adoration during a special discussion entitled, “Behold the Lamb of God! Reviving Eucharistic Adoration” led by Father Irenaeus Dunlevy, O.P., assistant chaplain at Providence College. This talk will take place on Wednesday, Feb. 1, 7-9 p.m., in Caffe Lepanto, St. Pius V Church Hall, Roselyn Street Ramp Entrance.
The Five First Devotions
PROVIDENCE — The Five First Devotions will take place on Saturday, Feb. 4, at St. Augustine Parish, 639 Mt. Pleasant Ave., beginning with confessions at 3:45 p.m. – 5 p.m.; the Rosary in music and song at 4 p.m., private meditation on the Mysteries of the Rosary at 4:30 p.m., and Mass at 5 p.m. This event will also take place on the following Saturdays: March 4, April 8, and May 6.

Young Adult Eucharistic Formation Retreat
KINGSTON — All young adults ages 18-30 are welcome to attend a day of prayer, formation, community, food and the celebration of Holy Mass while growing in love and reverence for the Holy Eucharist at Christ the King Parish, Kingston, on Sat., Feb. 11, from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. Check-in begins at 8:30 a.m. Registration for the event is mandatory and is open through February 4. RHODE ISLAND — NET Ministries, a national evangelization organization that ministers to teens through powerful retreats will be coming to the Diocese of Providence in the Fall of 2023, sometime during the months of October - December.
