Knights to serve chowder and clam cakes Fridays in Lent
PAWTUCKET — Knights of Columbus will serve chowder and clam cakes at St. John Paul II Parish 745 Central Ave., Fridays during Lent, from 5 – 7 p.m., except on Good Friday. First Friday Eucharistic Adoration for the Jubilee Year of Hope

40 Days for Life Lenten Campaign
PROVIDENCE — The 40 Days for Life Spring Campaign began on Ash Wednesday and runs through Sunday, April 13, with vigil hours every day at the public right-of-way outside the Planned Parenthood Providence abortion facility, 175 Broad St. The local campaign is coordinated by Rhode Island Right to Life and the diocesan Office of Life & Family Ministry.

Kidney Donation Workshop
SEEKONK, Mass.— Lives Forever Changed: Stories of Hope & Compassion, an educational program about kidney donation will be held at the Seekonk Public Library, March 26, 6 - 7:30 p.m. The featured speaker will be Dr. Basma Merhi, a nephrologist at Rhode Island Hospital Transplant team. Providence College 2025 Rodney K. Delasanta Lecture
PROVIDENCE — Christopher Stevens will be the speaker for the Providence College 2025 Rodney K. Delasanta Lecture, on Thursday, March 27, 4:30 p.m. in the Ruane Center for the Humanities Fiondella Great Room on the PC campus. The title of the lecture will be, “Leading Change in a Changing World.” Stevens is an associate teaching professor at the University of Notre Dame Inspired Leadership Initiative and Mendoza College of Business. He is the founder and CEO of CS74 Ventures, LLC and a co-developer of the Keurig Premium Coffee System. The lecture, sponsored by the Providence College Honors Program, is free and open to the public.

JAMESTOWN/PROVIDENCE — All are welcome to take part in a spiritual and historical look at the miracle of Our Lady of Guadalupe, led by internationally renowned authors, Joseph and Monique Gonzalez. They will lead attendees through history discovering how God prepared the indigenous people of Mexico to accept and embrace the message of Our Blessed Mother in 1531.
