Good Friday Observance
WOONSOCKET — Rhode Island radio station WNRI 1380AM will dedicate the hours from noon- 3 p.m., on Good Friday, April 15, to prayer, song and reflection on the Passion and Death of Christ. Host Roger Bouchard will welcome Father John A. Kiley, Woonsocket native and columnist for the Rhode Island Catholic, who will offer reflections on Christ's Passion as recorded in St. Luke's Gospel account which be proclaimed throughout the Christian world this year. The public is invited to share these solemn hours of reverent consideration.

ASL interpreted Holy Masses for Holy Week

PROVIDENCE — ASL interpreted Holy Masses will take place at St. Patrick Church, 244 Smith St., on Friday, April 15 — Passion Service at 7:45 p.m.; Saturday, April 16 — Easter Vigil at 7:30 p.m.; and April 17 — Easter Sunday at 9:15 a.m. Please contact Irma Rodriguez, Director, Office of the Apostolate with People with Disabilities, 401-278-4578, irodriguez@dioceseofprovidence.org for more information.


Afternoon of Music
WARREN — St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 500 Metacom Ave., will host a free afternoon of music on April 24, from 1-4 p.m., outside on the church grounds. Entertainment will be provided by Gary James Farias. The kitchen will be open and selling malassadas, sandwiches, and beverages. Or, you may bring your own. You may bring a chair or borrow. Tickets will be sold for a 50/50 split the pot and a raffle. A representative of Paparazzi jewelry will be present with a display of items for sale.
Divine Mercy at St. Pius V
PROVIDENCE — St. Pius V. Church, 240 Eaton St., will celebrate the Feast of Divine Mercy on Sunday, April 24. The schedule is as follows: 2-4 p.m. Confessions; 2:15 p.m. Glorious Mysteries of the Rosary; 2:45 p.m. O Blessed Host Litany (composed by St. Faustina); 3 p.m. Chaplet of Divine Mercy; 3:35 p.m. Litany of the Blessed Sacrament; 4:15 p.m. Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament; 4:30 p.m. Mass followed by Veneration of a First Class Relic of Saint Faustina. Wheelchair accessible. Ample supervised parking.
Volunteer for Habitat for Humanity
PROVIDENCE — On Thursday, April 28, 7 p.m., the St. Augustine Church, 639 Mt. Pleasant Ave.¸ Knights of Columbus will host Mark Kravatz, executive director, Providence Habitat for Humanity, who will speak on volunteer opportunities with his organization.
