Saint Anthony Church plans annual feast
NORTH PROVIDENCE — Saint Anthony Church, 1413 Mineral Spring Ave., will host the annual Feast of Saint Anthony on Friday, June 11, 5 – 11 p.m.; Saturday, June 12, 5 – 11 p.m.; and Sunday, June 13, 1 – 6 p.m. The event will feature live music, amusements, rides, games, food, beer and wine. Knights of Columbus to host breakfast
NORTH KINGSTOWN —The Knights of Columbus will hold a breakfast at the council hall, 1265 Tower Hill Road, on Sunday, June 13, from 7:30 - 10:30 a.m. Scrambled eggs, pancakes, home fries, ham, baked beans, pastries, orange juice, coffee and tea will be served. Children 6 and under are free.

St. Pius X Church to host Blood Drive
WESTERLY — St. Pius X Church will host a Blood Drive for the Rhode Island Blood Center on June 23, from 2 – 8 p.m. in the parish hall, 44 Elm St., Westerly. Donations by appointment. Enjoy an afternoon of music hosted by St. Thomas the Apostle Church
WARREN — St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 500 Metacom Ave., will host an afternoon of music outside on Sunday, June 27, from 1 - 4 p.m. 4’S Country, a well-known band in R.I., will be performing. Father Robert Randall to celebrate his 70th anniversary of ordination to the priesthood
WAKEFIELD — Father Robert Randall will celebrate the 70th anniversary of his ordination to the priesthood at the 4:30 p.m. Mass on Saturday, July 31, at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 114 High St. The Mass will be followed by a wine and cheese reception.

Save the date: St. Anthony Parish to hold annual feast
WEST WARWICK — St. Anthony Parish will host their annual feast on August 13, 14 and 15. The feast will begin Friday, August 13, at 11 a.m., with the sale of fish and chips dinners, with traditional events beginning on Saturday, August 14 at 5 p.m. On Sunday, August 15, malassadas will be sold at 9 a.m., and Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. A procession will leave the parish grounds at 2 p.m. A variety of Portuguese and American foods will be sold. Weekend entertainment includes DJ John Bolarinho, and on Saturday, a special appearance by the Portuguese band Starlight. PROVIDENCE — The Ignatian Volunteer Corps of New England is currently seeking mature men and women (50+) to volunteer at nearby agencies that assist those struggling with poverty and marginalization. Each volunteer commits to 1-2 days per week for 10 months, starting in September, and attends monthly meetings with other volunteers for spiritual reflection in the Jesuit tradition.
