Knights of Columbus Breakfast

NORTH KINGSTOWN — The Knights of Columbus will hold a public breakfast on Sunday, Oct. 19, from 7:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the council hall, 1265 Tower Hill Road. The menu includes scrambled eggs, French toast, home fries, bacon, and more. Children 6 and under are eat for free.

A Day of Memory and Remembrance on the 70th year of St. Martin de Porres Center

PROVIDENCE - Join St. Martin de Porres Center and the South Providence People’s Archive for a day of storytelling and sharing. Second Great Marian Procession

PROVIDENCE — The second Great Marian Procession, led by Bishop Bruce A. Lewandowski, C.Ss.R., will begin at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 18, from St. Mary Church, 538 Broadway, and will process to the Cathedral of SS. Peter and Paul, 30 Fenner Street, Providence, where the bishop will celebrate Holy Mass followed by fellowship, gathering in the Lower Cathedral. This special event welcomes the participation of every Marian advocate in the diocese — including parishes, schools, Catholic organizations, students, families and individuals. Bring your Rosary, your faith, and your love for the Virgin Mary. For those who want to park near St. Mary’s, Maria’s Cucina Restaurant, 447 Broadway, will have capacity for 50 cars. 68th Annual Snowflake Bazaar

COVENTRY — Saints John & Paul Parish will hold its 68th annual snowflake bazaar on Saturday, Oct. 18, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sunday, Oct. 19, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., in the parish center, 341 South Main St. The bazaar will feature gifts, handmade crafts, baked goods, raffles, baskets, cows chip bingo, and twinkle town for children, with photos with Santa. Breakfast and lunch will be available. Credit cards are accepted.

Walk for Life

WESTERLY — The Walk for Life will take place at St. Pius X Church, 44 Elm Street, on Sunday, Oct. 19, from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. The event begins with the opening of Eucharistic Adoration, followed by a procession to St. Sebastian Cemetery, where a priest will lead a short prayer service at the Tomb of the Unborn. The group will then process back to the church for Benediction. Walkers are welcome to bring signs (not graphic).

Friday Fright Night

PORTSMOUTH — St. Barnabas Church will host a night of scary good fun at Friday fright night on Friday, Oct. 24, from 5 to 9 p.m. The event includes a haunted maze, pumpkin decorating, rotten apple sling shot, snacks, and soda/water. For more information, call 401-683-3147.

Young Adult Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular

PROVIDENCE — Ocean State Young Adult, the Catholic ministry for individuals in their 20s and 30s within the Diocese of Providence, is heading to the Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular for their October Frassati Day on Fri., Oct. 24 at 8 p.m. at the Roger Williams Park Zoo! Married, single, priest, or religious in their 20s and 30s are invited to come experience thousands of glowing pumpkins at Roger Williams Park Zoo. Afterwards, the group will head to The Brass Monkey for drinks and fellowship. Three Evening Mission for the Feast of Sant’Angelo d’Acri

WESTERLY — Immaculate Conception Church, 111 High St., will host a three-evening mission for the Feast of Sant’Angelo d’Acri from Wednesday, Oct. 22, through Friday, Oct. 24, beginning at 7 p.m. There will be Mass each night celebrated by Father James Blount, SOLT, with a long, teaching homily. Holy Rosary Sodality 52nd Annual Harvest Bazaar

BRISTOL — The Holy Rosary Sodality will sponsor its 52nd Annual Harvest Bazaar on Saturday, Oct. 25, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the parish auditorium, 577 Wood St. The event features several booths, including religious items, Bingo, a pastry booth with homemade Portuguese sweet bread, Lizzie’s Kitchen with American and Portuguese foods, and free face-painting for children from 11a.m. – 2 p.m. Admission is free; a non-perishable food item donation for the Friends of St. Elizabeth Church Food Pantry is appreciated.

Sacred Heart Church Annual Fall Dinner
