World Mission Sunday
PROVIDENCE — On Sunday, Oct. 23, join Catholics around the world for the celebration of World Mission Sunday. Catholics are called to offer our prayers and financial help for the Church’s Missionary work in Asia, Africa, the Pacific Islands and parts of Latin America and Europe. Christ the King Church to host Fall Concert
KINGSTON — Christ the King Church will host a Fall Concert featuring Tom Kendzia and the Christ the King Choir and Youth Choir with special guest Dan Schutte on Thursday, Oct. 20, at 7 p.m., and Friday, October 21, at 7 p.m., at Christ the King Church, 180 Old North Road. Tickets available after Mass or in the office during the week. Free will donation at the concert. All proceeds to benefit parish outreach programs.
Masses for Recovery St. Barnabas
PORTSMOUTH — The next Mass for Recovery at St. Barnabas will be offered on Saturday, Oct. 23, and Sunday, Oct. 24, at 5 p.m at St.. Barnabas Church, 1697 E. Main Road. These Masses, to which all are welcome, provide an opportunity for people to come together in faith to seek God’s loving kindness and grace with special prayer intentions dedicated for those in recovery. If you or loved ones struggle with alcohol, drugs, addictions, mental distress, or you support folks who suffer from the effects of these issues, you are encouraged to attend. Mother Theresa Movie Coming to R.I.

Snowflake bazaar planned at Mary Mother of Mankind Church
NORTH PROVIDENCE — Mary Mother of Mankind Church, 25 4th St., will hold its annual Snowflake Bazaar on Saturday, Nov. 5 from 8 a.m. – 3 p.m., and Sunday, Nov. 6 from 8:30 a.m. – 1 p.m., in the church hall, 25 Fourth St. The event will include a major raffle, crafts, knitted items, penny social, hot food, drinks and coffee. Christmas Bazaar at St. John Neumann
EAST FREETOWN, Mass. — St. John Neumann Parish, 257 Middleboro Road, will hold a Christmas Bazaar in the parish hall on Saturday, Nov. 5, from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. The event will feature a wide variety of booths, gift basket raffles, money raffles, an assortment of home baked goods, Chinese Auction, lottery ticket raffles, antiques, collectibles, guest vendors and lunch. The event is wheelchair accessible.
Precious Blood Church to continue First Saturdays Devotion
WOONSOCKET — Precious Blood Church, 94 Carrington Ave., will continue to offer the First Saturdays devotion in unity with Pope Francis’ Consecration of Russia and Ukraine to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. The date of the devotion is Saturday, Nov. 5. Holy Mass will begin at 8 a.m. The celebrant will be Father Ryan J. Simas, KHS. Holly Berry Bazaar
WEST WARWICK — SS. John and James Parish and St. Mary Mission will hold their annual Holly Berry Bazaar on Saturday, Nov. 5, from 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. This event takes place in the cafeteria of the school building at 17 St. John St. The bazaar will feature baked goods, crafts, gifts, jewelry, knit and sew, a lottery tree, raffles, rollups, Santa (from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.). St. Joseph Church to host Candy Cane Bazaar
NORTH SCITUATE — St. Joseph Church will hold the annual Candy Cane Bazaar on Nov. 5 from 9 a.m. - 6:30 p.m., and Sunday, Nov. 6, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., in the church hall, 144 Danielson Pike. COVENTRY — Our Lady of Czenstochowa Parish, 222 MacArthur Blvd., will hold a Holiday Bazaar on Sunday, Nov. 6 from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. Breakfast is served from 9 – 10:30 a.m., and American food served from 11 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. Frozen Polish food will also be available from 9 a.m. until gone. PROVIDENCE — St. Raymond’s Church will hold its annual Christmas Bazaar on Saturday, Nov. 5, from 11:30 a.m. - 5 p.m., and Sunday, Nov. 6, from 8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m., in the church hall (lower level of church building) located at 1240 North Main St. The event will include raffles, crafts, knit items, baked goods, a penny social, Christmas wreaths and greenery, hot food, drinks and coffee. Christmas Bazaar at Sacred Heart, East Providence
EAST PROVIDENCE — Sacred Heart Church, 118 Taunton Ave., will host a Christmas Bazaar on Nov. 12 from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m., and Nov. 13 from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. A variety of Portuguese and American foods will be available along with homemade baked goods. Raffle tables will include a 50/50 raffle, lottery tree raffle, fabulous baskets raffle, gift card raffle and more. There will be children’s crafts, craft vendors, and games for children and adults.

WOONSOCKET — Holy Trinity Parish will hold their annual Christmas Bazaar and Craft Fair on Saturday, Nov. 12, from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m., in the Norm Malo Hall at the former Msgr. Confronting Antisemitism Together: An Interfaith Discussion
PROVIDENCE — The inaugural Fay Rozovsky Lecture in Jewish-Catholic Dialogue will take place Nov. 17 at 6 p.m., on the topic of Confronting Antisemitism Together: An Interfaith Discussion. The lecture will feature a panel discussion with Rabbi Ron Fish, Stephanie Hague and Rev. John Pawlikowski, O.S.M. This event is sponsored by the Jewish-Catholic Theological Exchange at Providence College and the Jewish Alliance of Greater Rhode Island. This will be a hybrid event with both in-person and virtual attendance possible.
Christmas Bazaar at Sacred Heart, West Warwick
WEST WARWICK — Sacred Heart Church, 820 Providence St., will host a Christmas Bazaar on Friday, Nov. 18, from noon to 7 p.m., and Saturday, Nov. 19 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. The event will feature arts and crafts, a penny social, raffles, and much more. The kitchen will be open throughout with a variety of hot and cold sandwiches. Friday night will feature chowder and clam cakes.
